The course includes 2 sessions of 4 hours, total of 8 hours.

Syllabus

• General overview: spaces, pages, page tree, Confluence home page
• Creating new page using a template
• Page editing tools
• Diagrams (using add-on such as Gliffy)
• Using Labels
• Adding Meta Data to pages (Page properties)
• Reusing content (page include, excerpt)
• Useful macros: Expand, Table of Contents
• Adding links between pages, using anchors
• Drafts, page history
• Collaboration tools: Page Comments, In-line Comments, user mentioning, watching, sharing, collaborative editing
• Using Attachments and embedding office files and collaborating on them
• Search engine, advanced search, live search macro, search results macro
• Feeds: Recently used labels, Recently Updated Pages, Recently Updated Dashboard, Space Contributors
• Documenting minutes of meetings/reviews and tracking action items
• Space permissions and page restrictions
• Additional space tools
• Integration with JIRA
